Weightlifting Ireland is delighted to announce that three athletes and two coaches have been selected to represent Ireland at the upcoming European Junior & U23 Weightlifting Championships. This event will take place in Rovaniemi, Finland. Competition dates are between September, 24th – October, 3rd – 2021.
This event provides a great opportunity for our country’s leading Junior & U23 athletes to gain valuable international competition experience. All three selected have made great progress over the past year to 18 months, even with difficult training conditions.
