Overview:
This course is a development opportunity for coaches interested in representing Weightlifting Ireland in the delivery of our Sport Ireland funded School Partnership Programme to Transition Year Students.
The course will be a three hour practical and interactive event with the objective of providing qualified level 1 coaches with additional knowledge and skills to deliver effective coaching in a school setting, emphasising safety, consistent coaching techniques and class management.
Information will also be provided on the programme to be delivered, interested schools and locations, coach reimbursement and kit.

Entry Requirements:
- Coaches must have a valid Weightlifting Ireland Level 1
- If interested but not yet qualified, please get in touch and we can assess on an case by case bases.
- Garda Vetting via WI & Safeguarding L1 will be requirements to coach on this programme after CPD attendance.
- Participants must be 18 years of age or over.
⚠️ An active membership for 2024 is required to registered for this workshop.
