- Athletes must to 35 years of age or older to be eligible to compete (everyone’s birthday is January, 1st – therefore if you were 34 on the 31st of December, 2022, you turn 35 on the 1st of January regardless of when your actual birthday is during the year).
- Only Irish Passport holders will be eligible to compete at this years Irish National Masters Championships. Guests may be be accepted and allowed to compete but the WI Board of Directors must approve prior to entry closing date.

Coaches must be a registered Level 1 coach and a member of Weightlifting Ireland (WI).
These are minimum requirements to gain access to the field of play._
