- Copenhagen Weightlifting Cup is a Sinclair competition with an overall winner for men and women with separate groups for youth/junior men and youth/junior women.
- A total of 45 tickets are available for purchase from 30th of September 2023. Athletes will be seeded into groups according to total, gender and age group.
- The organiser will use date of birth to separate Youth/Junior lifters from senior lifters. Should a youth or junior lifter wish to participate in the senior division they can contact the organiser.
- Copenhagen Weightlifting Cup is a category 2a competition according to the Danish Weightlifting Federation competition categorisation.
- Both Danish and international lifters are welcome to sign up for Copenhagen Weightlifting Cup 2024.
If members of Weightlifting Ireland wish to compete at this event they need to contact either the WI Secretary and/or WI Competition Director and be a member for 2024 before the competition date.

Coaches must be a registered Level 1 Coach and a member of Weightlifting Ireland (WI). Coaches must have completed Safeguarding L1 training within the past two (2) years. Coaches must be Garda Vetted by Weightlifting Ireland (WI) within the past three (3) years. These are minimum requirements to gain access to the field of play/warm up area._
