Club Championships – 2019

Mandatory – Clubs to bring two loaders for one session.

Recommended  – Clubs to bring Referee and Volunteers.

1. Athletes must be residing in Ireland.

2. Athlete must be a registered member of Weightlifting Ireland 60 days prior to competition date.

3. Athlete to have registered their club on application form – If club change required, W.I. Secretary to be notified in writing a minimum of 60 days prior to competition. ([email protected])

4. W.I. Executive Board has final decision on accepting entries for National Clubs Championships

1. Maximum of 4 athletes per team (4 male & 4 female).

2. Clubs can enter a male team and/or a female team.

3. Only 3 athletes per team (male & female) will score on the day, based on Sinclair points.

4. Best male team, best female team and best overall team prizes presented on the day.

* Coach must be a registered Level 1 coach and a member of WI.
** If Athlete U18, Coach must be Garda Vetted.
*** These are minimum requirements to gain access to the field of play.
