- Qualification standards and entry requirements for athletes to enter remain the same as 2021: [HERE]
- Qualification Period: October 1st, 2021, – July 1st, 2022 / (including the Cork Open and the National Senior Championships – 2021).
- Only Irish Passport holders will be eligible to compete at this years Irish National Senior Championships.

Coaches must be a registered Level 1 coach and a member of Weightlifting Ireland (WI). Coaches of U18 Athletes must be Garda Vetted by Weightlifting Ireland (WI).
These are minimum requirements to gain access to the field of play._
