Weightlifting Ireland Women in Sport (WIS) & Clare Local Sports Partnership (LSP) Collaboration Project with Shannon Dragons.
Shannon Dragons is a Dragonboat Racing Club based in Limerick whose main objective is to support the recovery, health & well being of breast cancer survivors by establishing dragon boat teams and providing paddling, coaching & training – benefitting them, their friends & supporters. The programme will introduce the weightlifting movements, fundamental strength movements and provide a basis for strength and conditioning to support the return to the racing season.
